Case Management

Your assigned Case Manager provides you with professional case management services, no matter where your travel destination or desired procedure.  To ensure a positive experience and fill continuum of care, our case manager will work with facilities and providers to arrange for the transfer of medical records, scheduling of the procedure and any outpatient stay that will be required, and scheduling of necessary travel arrangements.  Your case manager acts as the contact point and key resource for any information or arrangements that are needed in the course of your medical travel.

Accreditation

There are several factors patients should evaluate when selecting an overseas medical care provider.  Patients should know the accreditation status of the doctors and facilities.  Your case manager will verify accreditation and outcome statistics when assisting you in your selection of doctors and facilities.

The accreditation process is completed by a third party, such as Joint Commission International (JCI), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and URAC to name a few. Accreditation offers peace of mind for patients because:

• Doctors and facilities often find that after completing the accreditation process that have improved management efficiencies and program effectiveness. This leads to quality care at lower cost.
• The quality standards that are part of accreditation programs provide guidance on best practices and ensure that a doctor's or facilities' processes have been thoroughly reviewed and vetted.  This leads to quality care with proven documented outcomes.

Employer Sponsored Plans
